Together, we have the capacity, ability, and resilience to prevent gun violence. Together, we are peacemakers.
About the Peacemaker Institute
The Peacemaker Training Institute (PTI) serves as a training connection hub and provides a roadmap of building community for organizers and allies working within or interested in the gun violence prevention movement and public health space.
The PTI is meant to shift the narrative of gun violence prevention to center voices of color and create space for collaboration, community, and learning through leadership development, strategic training, and curriculum. PTI will travel across the country throughout the rest of 2018, hosting trainings and events with partners across the country, including the Black and Brown Gun Violence Consortium.
There is no cost to attend these trainings, but everyone must register. We especially encourage young organizers to attend. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a guardian in attendance, or be part of a organization that can provide guardianship.
Stay tuned for upcoming training dates and locations.
